H2023-2023-PF-NEW-TECH aims to build new energy harvesting technology based on biocompatible polymer-based piezoelectric materials, for prolonging the battery life of implantable electronic devices.
The actual technology of a piezoelectric energy harvest device's battery suffers from several issues, such as limited life, relatively large sizes, and insufficient and unreliable long-term functionality.
The goal of NEW-TECH is to overcome this stagnation and create a new energy harvesting device made up of a new multilayer EH device made of multiple PVDF-based EH units.
